Jonas Greif, racing driver

Supporting the region has always been a focus for us. For this reason, we would like to briefly introduce Jonas Greif, driver in the ADAC Masters (season 23/24 Porsche Carrera Cup Germany). The ADAC Masters will be the springboard to the premier class of the DTM – his long-term goal. As a sponsor, we are more than proud to be able to accompany him on his journey. Above all, we have one thing in common: the determination to deliver the best performance.

Jonas has been enthusiastic about motorsport since 2010, when he went to the kart track with his father for the first time. Over the years, he has proven how much you can achieve with perseverance, discipline and willpower. He has clearly defined his goals for the future.

Schmales Haus e.V.

The Schmale Haus has been a meeting place for children and young people aged 6 to 16 since 1996 and it lives up to its name, as it is actually the narrowest house in the city of Meissen with an average width of 2.60 metres. In addition to various daily activities, such as the media box (filming, geocaching, etc.), cooking and baking together, creative workshops or the sports and games day, the children also have plenty of free space at their disposal. The Schmale Haus is a protected social space that offers a wide range of opportunities for experience and retreat.

Back in summer 2021, Meissner Fenstertechnik organised a window flea market and donated all the proceeds to the Schmale Haus for the ‘tree house’ project. As if that wasn’t enough, Lutz Hiller, founder and Managing Director of Meissner Fenstertechnik, decided to organise an auction for his 65th birthday and also donate the proceeds to the Schmale Haus. He also organised the visit and further donations through the football fan project ‘kloppocar’.
‘Thinking of others’ – for Lutz Hiller, this is a matter close to his heart.

TSV Kreischa

At the beginning of the 1990s, 16 young men from Kreischa and the surrounding area took the initiative to revive the football tradition in Kreischa after many years of dormancy. In the early years, there was only one men’s team, which played friendly matches. In August 1992, the club joined the regional sports association. In the 1995/1996 season, the 1st men’s team started to play matches. In the meantime, TSV Kreischa has expanded with the following teams: 1st men (Kreisoberliga), 2nd men, A-G youth, women, old men. As an official sponsor, we would also like to support the region here.

A long-standing ‘MFT tradition’ is the annual football tournament on the TSV Kreischa pitch.

With the increasing number of members and the associated number of teams, the former school barracks from GDR times no longer met current requirements, so extensive renovation work was carried out on the clubhouse in a first construction phase in 2022 and 2023. The work is to be continued and completed in 2024 and 2025 with the second construction phase. The measures were financed with the help of the municipality of Kreischa, SAB subsidies and the club’s own funds, and were implemented with the active commitment of the club members.

Meissner Sportverein 08 –
football department

There were certainly more significant events in 1908, but for Meißen there are two that deserve special mention and recognition: Firstly, there was the completion of the new west towers of the Meißen Cathedral, which have been a landmark of the city ever since. Secondly, football was discovered for the city on the Elbe below the castle hill. Since then, the football department has developed into the “Heiliger Grund” stadium and an artificial turf pitch. The first men’s team plays in the state league. Our connection to the city of Meißen is our reason for supporting this too.
