The adhesive creates an extremely strong bond between the disc and the sash. This means that the heavy weight of the pane does not rest on individual blocks, but is distributed over the entire surface. This prevents the sash from dropping, meaning that the fitter no longer has to carry out any maintenance.
But that’s not all: bonding the pane also ensures greater stability of the entire profile. In this way, no further steel reinforcement is required inside the profile, at least for standard sizes. The absence of steel also eliminates the well-known thermal bridge and thus enables better thermal insulation values. Another advantage for fitters: without steel, the profiles are up to 60 per cent lighter.

Cleverly thwarts attempted break-ins
As a third seal in the window frame, the solid central bar running all the way around provides improved thermal insulation values on the one hand, and on the other hand prevents the sash from being forced open quickly.

Window technology in perfection
Impressive insulation values are made possible by foam inside technology. The profile chambers are filled with a special polyurethane foam. The trick is that the material is injected into the frame after the welding process. The foam has the special property of opening up long distances through the profile itself. Due to the volume expansion during the foaming process, the hollow chamber of the window frame is filled all the way round to the corners. foam inside is completely recyclable because, unlike conventional construction foam, it does not stick to the other profile materials.
powerdur® inside
For the best thermal insulation
Reduce steel to a minimum or even omit it altogether – In cooperation with BASF, a special glass fibre-reinforced plastic was developed that provides the necessary stability inside the profiles and makes additional steel reinforcement superfluous. With powerdur, which is inserted directly into the profile at the factory, significantly better insulation values are achieved. The profiles are 100 per cent recyclable. In a state-of-the-art recycling plant, the granulated mixture of PVC and powerdur can be precisely separated and fed back into the production cycle.
